Object Writing: Diamond

Her nostrils flared like light through a diamond. It was both beautiful and terrifying. I froze, glacial, shaking before the eyes of this enraged bull. A cardinal sin had been committed and the jury was unanimous.

“What do you mean you spilled it?!” The vaguely contained fury pulsed beneath each syllable.

“Do you have any idea how long it took me to pump that?!”

So I know I promised next time I got “diamond” I was going to talk about that illustrious woman who moved like like through a diamond. For some unknown reason, as I set my timer my brain locked onto that first sentence and I started giggling and followed my nose on this one.

If you've ever breastfed and pumped breastmilk and then watch that breastmilk get tossed whether by accident or intentional, you'll know this pain.
