Object Writing: Stream

There are some sounds that are so interrupting, that it's difficult to piece together thought. I could hear some water dribbling nearby which I focused on, but focused on it made it even more interrupting. It was delightful to write about, and quite humorous that trying to focus on it make it more difficult.

It clattered in my skull, bouncing around in place of thought, the constant stream of rain water that dribbled endlessly out of the down pipe. Somewhere further off a metallic drip echoed, lending itself to the stream. Interrupted words scattered as I begged patience to stay meanwhile the fleeting clam thrust its foot forward to accelerate their departure. I wanted to scream. To lift the ceiling and rattle the walls but it would only claw at my throat and raise despair from its sleep.

I was going to continue to describe despair as a light sleeper, especially skilled at rising when patience and calm were abscent.
